On 08 October, the Ministry of Science and Technology (S&T) in collaboration with the Vietnam Science and Technology Enterprise Start-up Fund (SVF) and the World Cup Startup officially launched the talent contest for innovative startups. national innovation TECHFEST 2020. This is a contest that seeks and supports innovative startups aiming to promote spirit, creative thinking, and application of science and technology to build and Business Development. This is also an opportunity for startups to exchange, connect with investors, support organizations, link resources, as well as access policies and practical support programs for startups.<\/div>\n

Compared to 2019, this year’s contest has the difference that the contestants target Vietnamese individuals or Vietnamese people living and working in and outside of Vietnam, regardless of gender or age. career, product, service, innovative technology, registered business license and sample product.<\/div>\n

This year, startups participating in the competition will go through two evaluation tables:<\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
– Tech-driven: For businesses that provide technology products or services to customers and markets, including completely new technology products and services or using technologies new to achieve rapid growth and expansion.<\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
– Innovative business model (Innovative business model): For businesses with innovative elements in business models, products \/ services …<\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
During 3 months, from September to November, there is a series of communication programs, direct interaction, application consultation will take place on online platforms organized by startup communities of provinces, public communities. domestic and international technology, associations, and start-up support communities.<\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
The preliminary round takes place from October 8 to November 8, 2020 in the form of submitting documents and documents of online businesses’ projects on the official website. The organizers select 60 teams (30 teams each) to enter the training round.<\/div>\n

The semi-final and the final will take place on November 24, 2020, Ho Chi Minh City and November 29, 2020, respectively.<\/div>\n
