“Online management and operation center for professional support of Covid-19 diagnosis and treatment”, coordinated by the Ministry of Health and VMED Group, will be deployed with the aim of taking advantage of outstanding advantages of health solutions No. 4.0 in control and prevention of acute respiratory infection caused by new strains of Corona Virus (Covid – 19) and application of pandemic control in the future.
\nVMED Group is a Medical Technology Company in Vietnam. With the desire to co-operate with the health sector for quick control of pandemic caused by Corona Virus (Covid – 19), VMED Group coordinated with the Ministry of Health to develop a “Online management and operation center for professional support of Covid-19 diagnosis and treatment\u201d at the Medical Examination and Treatment Management Department- Ministry of Health. Accordingly, VMED Group will use the CLAS Healthcare electronic medical record software for all patients infected with Covid-19; PACS software and real-time healthcare data transmission software from all medical facilities to the Support Center and Command Center; The aforementioned software will be integrated with the modern medical equipment such as CARESCAPE R860 ventilator and CARESCAPE B450 patient monitor manufactured by GE Healthcare and provided by Vietmedical (a member of VMED Group).

\nPurpose and meaning of the program:
\nThe World Health Organization declared that the pandemic of acute respiratory infection caused by the new strain of Corona Virus (Covid – 19) is “a state of global emergency”.
\nIn Vietnam, the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic is being controlled, however, vigilance is needed because in case of coming back, the pandemic causes unpredictable danger and spreads on a large scale. In particular, many doctors and nurses specialized in emergency and resuscitation, critically ill patients passed away due to untimely treatment (through monitoring of developments in Wuhan and real response to SARS epidemic (caused by Corona virus) in Vietnam in 2003 – Hanoi French Hospital had more than 40 doctors and nurses under simultaneous disease infection and administrative staff was mobilized for replacement).
\nAlthough it is possible to send medical staff from other specialties to support, however, monitoring, diagnosis, prognosis, care and treatment are impossible. The use of machinery and tools in resuscitation takes time for training, fostering and practical application to implement the right thing while there is few specialized doctors and nurses, which leads to the overload and exhaustion.
\nIn such context, the deployment of “Online management and operation center for professional support of Covid-19 diagnosis and treatment ” by the Ministry of Health in coordination with VMED Group is very necessary, which will take all advantages of Medical Solutions No. 4.0 in pandemic prevention across the country. In addition, thanks to the Center\u2019s birth, the patient exposure of doctors is reduced and thereby, exposure risks are also declined. “<\/p>\n
This is an important foundation for establishment of command centers of the Ministry of Health and Vietnam National Association of Emergency, Intensive Care Medicine and Clinical Toxicology to gather major hospitals in the North, Central and South so that leading experts can support remote consultation, prognosis, solution for timely treatment of Covid-19 infections or apply such situation for future disease control for lower-level doctors in necessary cases.
\nMedical Solution No. 4.0 at the “online management and operation center for professional support of Covid-19 diagnosis and treatment” helps to deploy a command system for treatment of Covid-19 infected patients from the medical examination and treatment Department – The Ministry of Health to the regional support centers and treatment centers according to the following model:
