PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) is a medical imaging technology that provides the place to store, retrieve, manage, distribute, and display images. PACS helps reduce the traditional form of film printing in healthcare settings. PACS system allows to capture, store, view and share all types of images for medical purposes.

VMED Group has been researching and developing PACS solution, which is capable of managing more than 20 million images, 12 petabytes of data, storing and processing 152 images per second with many advanced features fully integrated.

Đặc biệt, nền tảng khám chữa bệnh từ xa chuyên sâu – Tele-medicine của VMED Group đã gây ấn tượng khi kết nối trực tiếp từ trạm y tế xã Văn Lăng – Thái Nguyên tới bác sĩ chuyên khoa tại Hội nghị. Giá trị nổi bật của giải pháp này là khả năng kết nối dữ liệu bệnh nhân tuyến dưới đến trung tâm theo thời gian thực. Cụ thể, bác sĩ ở tuyến trên có thể trực tiếp theo dõi các chỉ số sinh tồn của bệnh nhân thông qua các thiết bị công nghệ cao, đáp ứng đúng và toàn diện các yêu cầu chuyên môn sâu trong quá trình khám, chẩn đoán và điều trị bệnh nhân. Nhờ công nghệ “chuyển tuyến số”, người bệnh dù nằm điều trị tại bệnh viện địa phương song vẫn được bác sĩ tuyến trung ương thăm khám, hỗ trợ chẩn đoán và điều trị. Như vậy, người bệnh sẽ tiết kiệm khoản chi phí chuyển viện, bớt nguy cơ gặp rủi ro trong quá trình đi lại, đặc biệt trong những tình huống bệnh nguy cấp. Nói cách khác, người dân được sử dụng dịch vụ y tế có chất lượng của tuyến trên – tuyến trung ương ngay tại cơ sở y tế tuyến dưới với chi phí thấp hơn rất nhiều so với việc chuyển viện. Đây cũng là một trong những tiêu chí mà Bộ trưởng Nguyễn Mạnh Hùng đề cập đến trong bài phát biểu về sự phát triển mang tính đột phá của chuyển đổi số.
